Edi, thanks so much, this blog is *amazing* - you have answered 6 or 7 issues that I have had (or still have) with UWP in one single page. I have already downloaded your character map tool which is going to be incredibly useful as I use the symbols all the time in apps (mainly for DataGrid action buttons). Thank you! I love this technique. One side effect, I noticed is that changes to your appsettings.*.json files won't take immediate affect. The application has to be stopped and restarted (IIS/IIS Express stopped and started in a web project) for the AppSettings DI object to be reloaded. This is desirable in production but may be confusing while developing.
